Our Fun and Quizzes page has some ideas to try at home or school to find out more about Rochester Bridges and other bridges around the world.
For those who want to learn more, we have produced an education kit of 12 Sessions for teachers, homeschoolers and families which can be used as a complete programme or any of the any of the Sessions can be used alone. We’ve developed the programme by running afterschool clubs for Key Stage 2 pupils and our family bridge building activities.
There are teachers’ notes, handouts and presentations that you can download from the Lesson Plans page. Most of the activities use everyday materials but there are also recommendations for some of our favourite kits for learning about bridges.

Learning about Bridges contains twelve sessions on the basics of bridge building, aimed at children aged 8-11 years.
Langdon the Lion is pleased to present this ‘Exploring Engineering Challenge’ for schools and clubs! The activities are based on real life engineering scenarios and are ideal for curriculum enrichment days, afterschool clubs, youth club and home education use.
